During lucid dreaming, it is possible to dream of someone in particular, of anyone you want. If you want to learn how to dream of a particular person, it is necessary that you have already managed to achieve lucidity. Lucid dreaming at least once in a while will give you the opportunity to practice the following techniques.
If you are new to lucid dreaming, or if you are still struggling to achieve or maintain lucidity in a dream, there is plenty of good information available to help you work through it.
When you think you're proficient enough at these skills, here's how to do it.
How to dream of someone?
An important prerequisite is to remember well that when you dream, you will see this person whenever you want. Tell yourself that when you become lucid, it will be easy to find this person. This should be done several times a day until it occurs to you in your dreams.
Achieving a dream level of control is unlikely to be quick or easy. This is because you have to see the dream world the opposite of how you normally see the world. When it comes to dream manipulation, all you have to do is sincerely hope and believe that such things are possible. It is also important to point out that this is difficult and takes practice.
When you are lucid, you need to be relaxed. If you're tense or worse, desperate, it won't work. Remember that the scene of your dreams is created by your mind, so your emotions affect what happens. If you're afraid it won't work, your mind will find a way to create endless obstacles until your dream time passes or falls.
6 ways to dream about someone
All methods should be performed confidently and calmly. Try not to get discouraged if you're only halfway there or stuck just yet. It's not uncommon to have to try a lot at different stages before you stay in the right frame of mind to succeed.
Once you have become lucid and have stabilized your dream, one of the following methods may allow you to see a particular person. Experiment with them all or focus on the one or two that appeal to you the most.
Here are six different methods to make someone dear to you appear in your dream. Keep in mind that they are not guaranteed to work and you may need to practice using them a few times before they start getting results for you.
Think of a scene that happened
Think about this scene well before sleeping, focus on it. During this reflection, imagine the scene you want to enter, including the person of your choice. Stop thinking, convinced that the scene and the person will materialize.
imagine a scene
Close your eyes and imagine the room or location with the person of your choice. Wait for the image to be strong, then open your eyes eagerly to enter the dream.
Behind a door or in a corner
If there is a door in your dream, tell yourself that it is behind the door. Open it hoping you will see them.
Another way to do this is to knock on the door. You can trust that the person will respond. Or if you prefer, don't expect what will be answered and instead tell the person you're here to see them, thinking they'll take the person and be back soon.
Another way is to walk around a corner, hoping the person is on the other side.
You just have to ask
If there are other people present, ask one of them where the person of your choice is. Expect them to point the person directly or to a very close location.
You can also tell the person present to pick up the person you want to see. I find it very reliable.
Go to his house
If your dream takes place near a place where you would be, go there. It can be your home, your school, your workplace – anywhere you expect to see it.
I only recommend this method if the location is very close. If possible, fly to the location to get there quickly. If the trip takes too long, it's easy to get distracted along the way; the worse you can lose your lucidity, the better it exhausts your dream time.
"Take my hand"
Close your eyes, reach out your hands and say "Take my hand". Wait happily and wait for the person to hold your hand. When you feel it, open your eyes and there they are.
When you succeed
When the person is in sight, it is essential to remain calm. Don't stress out because the person doesn't want to see you. Don't take any action that suggests the person wants to get away from you, such as running towards you or trying to surprise you.
Greet the person with joy and hope that they are expecting you and happy to see you.
If you make it this far, congratulations! It should get easier the more you try.
Prepare your mind
While lying in bed, before falling asleep, imagine a dream scene where you become lucid, say, "I see you now," and with a calm demeanor perform the technique of your choice. Imagine the person appearing and greet them happily. Imagine him greeting you happily, however you choose, with a smile, a hug, or whatever feels most natural to you.
keep trying
Being able to dream of who you want on a regular basis is not easy. The information provided here is only a starting point. Keep thinking about your dreams, including where things tend to go wrong.
At first, I recommend doing a pre-bedtime visualization with all the methods so that they come to mind if an opportunity arises; at the very least, you will gain experience from the attempt.
After a while, you may find that one of the methods is best suited to the type of dream you tend to have. In this case, focus on this when remembering during the day and before going to bed.
As you gain experience with this form of dream control, you might even think of a way that suits your dreams well.
Ideally, you should enjoy the whole process of lucid dreaming and dream control without getting too frustrated (we know this can be terribly frustrating, especially when you lose the dream or the person at the last moment), keeping in mind you have a lifetime to practice and explore.
